 History:

The history of Dibble School dates back to the 1800’s. The original log schoolhouse was replaced with a stone building in 1868, which was replaced by a wood structure in 1885. A brand new Dibble School was constructed in the 1950’s and an addition, which included a library, was built in the 1960’s. In 1967, the wood structure was donated to the Ella Sharp Museum. It currently is used in the Museum's educational living history program, Pioneer Living, throughout the school year.
