JHS Announcements

  • This is Mr. Coffie with this week’s high school announcements. This Wednesday is our last early release at 1:04pm.
During Teacher Appreciation Week the JHS Parent/Family Network will be celebrating our amazing JHS & Pathways teachers* with a catered lunch, treats, and drinks.
    Ways to help:
Donations of canned soda, sparkling water, ice-tea, and juices.
Donations of individually wrapped snack items (snack cakes, granola bars, candy bars, candy pouches, chips, popcorn, nuts)
Donations of treats (a flat of cookies from Sam’s, a tray of brownies, etc.)
Monetary donations towards the catered lunch (or purchased snacks/drinks). Checks/cash can be brought to the main office with “Appreciation” in the memo line.
Small gift cards to area businesses (coffee shops, fast food, Target, etc.)
*The Parent/Family Network includes ALL that play a part in educating our students– teachers, secretaries, support staff, etc. If graduation is the finish line there are a LOT of people along the way getting our students there.
This weekend the JHS Theater department will feature The Addams Family on Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 7pm, and Sunday at 3pm. We invite you to come out and support these dedicated students!
Please be reminded that students in violation of dress code will be asked to modify their attire or notify a parent or guardian to help them do so. The dress code can be found in our student handbook on our JPS website.
Be sure to head out to Jackson Crossing to see our Viking students’ artwork that will be displayed from April 15-28th! They have worked tirelessly to create unique and thoughtful artwork. Thank you to our art teachers, Ms. Irvine and Ms. Landrum who have guided them to this culminating event with their knowledge and expertise!
