Welcome to 2017-18! I am looking forward to the upcoming school year as it promises to continue with our fine tradition of preparing students for the future, while offering new opportunities such as the addition of Mandarin to our World Language options. All will be supported by a curriculum that includes 14 Advanced Placement courses, sciences that provide for involvement with Vex Robotics and Bridge Building competitions, an experiential based CTE Department, and course offerings placing emphasis on literacy and math competency.

Hello and welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! My name is Anthony Coffie and I am the 9th Grade Assistant Principal. The staff and student body at Jackson High School value and promote a unique culture of diversity like no other in the county. Our varied AP courses, extra curricula opportunities, sports programs and social clubs cannot be rivaled. The Jackson School Board has picked its officers for the coming year.
Jackson Public Schools is switching the leaders of Dibble and Frost elementary schools
Thanks to one Michigan woman's invention and some help from Consumers Energy, elementary school students across Jackson County won't know that torture anymore.
A smaller enrollment decline than expected and an increase in state funding for at-risk students helped erase about a $1 million deficit from Jackson Public Schools' 2017-18 budget.
As part of an $86.7 million bond proposal, Jackson's Frost and Cascades elementary schools would be demolished and a new elementary school built in their place.
