Greg Adams. Assistant Principal

Welcome to the 2019/2020 school year!

It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed 10th grade Assistant Principal (Class of 2022) of Jackson High School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead in a school with such a rich tradition of education and excellence! I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than eight years. I have also worked with at-risk youth as a youth specialist for the Jackson County Youth Center for fifteen years. My most recent administrative experience was with the Western School District where I served as the Program Director for Western Career Prep High School. I am excited and eager to bring my skills as an educational leader to Jackson High School and work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.

Thanks to the overwhelming support of the 2018 bond, the construction of the new state of the art aquatic center is underway and students are equipped with the tools and resources that promote 21st century learning and creativity in the classroom. Along with the teachers and staff, I will work hard to ensure students achieve Academic Excellence, Workforce Readiness and Lifelong Learning to continue the legacy of success at Jackson High. In doing so, my goal is to build strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. We will use data to drive instruction, and provide consistent implementation of the curriculum so that we can continue to increase all of the students' achievement. I am also concerned about the whole student’s well-being and committed to setting high expectations and focus on character education initiatives to address social and emotional needs.

As your Assistant Principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors are excited to be here! This attitude enables us to create a positive, safe, fun, and nurturing learning environment. I take pride in making myself available to build relationships and/or to address any questions or concerns you or your child may have. Please feel free to call or email me to discuss any of these topics throughout the school year. I look forward to an amazing year and working with you as a team to help each student at Jackson High to meet their goals and have a successful school year!
