Looking ahead…
As we begin planning for next year, if you know someone who would like to become a Viking, please encourage them to attend our New Student Orientation on March 1st from 6:00- 7:30 pm at JHS. We invite 8th grade middle school students along with those in other grades who may desire to transfer from another school.

Our second trimester will end on March 4. Exams will take place on March 2, 3, and 4 with an early dismissal on both March 3 and 4.

The 35th Annual Viking Ambassadors Event “Once A Viking…Always A Viking…What’s Your Viking Story” will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022. The money raised at this auction is used to support scholarships and mini-grants for various programs at JHS. Please mark your calendar for the 35th Ambassadors Virtual Auction and plan to join this virtual event.

JPS is now mask-optional for both staff and students. Please note that the mask mandate still remains for school buses as the CDC continues to require masks on all public transportation including school buses.

If your child is not part of an athletic team, a club, or the after school program he or she will need to depart the building by 2:30 p.m. each day. Please contact your child’s respective grade office if there is an extenuating circumstance.

Good luck to our athletes who will be competing this week. Let’s get that Viking Victory!
