Weekly announcements 4/24

Apr 24, 2022

Good evening Viking! This is Mr. Lewis with your weekly announcements

The Parent Network will be hosting a luncheon for our staff during teachers appreciation week (May 2-6). We’d also like to give our teachers gift cards at this luncheon. If you’d like to donate gift cards or give a monetary donation, you or your student can drop them off to Mrs. Edwards in the main office.

Seniors, please be sure to check in with Ms. Napolski, Mrs. Raymond or myself to schedule your senior meeting if you have not met with our team. Graduation is pending and your last day to turn in work will be May 20th. We are hopeful that you will remain on track and we are here to help.

At lunch students will have subs back on the menu. Subs have to be ordered the night before to receive them the next day.. Order your sub tonight!

Now is the perfect time to learn about Jackson County Early College and the benefits it offers to your 8th, 9th, or 10th grade student. Jackson Public Schools offers this free college opportunity so your child can earn a college degree or certificate while planning for a career – while still in high school. If you would like to attend a parent meeting, several options are available either in-person or virtually. Please contact Jean Logan, JCEC administrator, at info@jxncec.org or at 517.581.2003 to learn more! We will be hosting a JCEC informational meeting for students, parents, and guardians on April 27, 2022 at 6:00 pm in the Jackson High School Library.
