Volunteering with JPS

Jackson Public Schools encourages all parents, family and community members to become involved in their children's education. We rely on volunteers to manage and monitor special events, for assistance in the classroom, serving in the PTO and much more.  We invite you to share your time and talents with our students.

Every JPS school has a designated PARENT LIAISON to solicit volunteers and other resources.  Parent and community participation is essential to making all of JPS the best learning environment for your child and for our community.

Every school year, volunteers must fill out the ICHAT - Volunteer Background Check Form and provide a copy of their drivers license.  Please use the following link to download and print a copy of this form.
